RIVER RUNS EVERY
TUESDAY, THURSDAY & SUNDAY

TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS

On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, you'll find London's friendliest running club heading west along the Thames.

The LCR clubhouse (130 Druid Street) will serve as your meeting point, and a series of waves will be set off throughout the evening at the following times:

TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS

18:15 - all paces and all routes

18:30 - all paces and all routes

19:00 - all paces and all routes

The three main waves will be for people of all paces, for any of our route options. The most popular choices are crossing over Millennium Bridge (approx. 4 miles/6.5K) and Westminster Bridge (approx. 7 miles/11K), maps for which can be found below. Crossing Blackfriar's Bridge provides a good intermediate option at approx. 5 miles/8K.

If you want to go to Westminster Bridge, we would encourage you to attend the 18:15 wave if you can, as most people running this route come at this time. However, it's not obligatory!

Afterwards, we encourage everyone to stick around and have a drink! This is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow members and experience the friendly vibes LCR is famous for.

If you are a new member, please make yourself known when you arrive for your run. This is so we can pair you up with someone of a similar pace who can show you the route. Please note that none of the waves have an official leader or set pace, so runs will always be done at your own risk. If there are many runners in your wave, we ask that you please spread out along the route and do not run as a pack in order to limit disruption to others.

SUNDAYS

On Sundays, we head east along the Thames instead, with the choice to run to Greenland Pier and back (approx. 6 miles/10K) or through the Greenwich foot tunnel and back over Tower Bridge (approx. 11 miles/18K). For those wanting a shorter run, we also offer the option to run our Millennium Bridge route (approx. 4 miles/6.5K). The groups set off at the following times:

10:15 - all paces to Greenwich foot tunnel

10:30 - all paces to Greenland Pier

10:45 - all paces to Millennium Bridge

Many runners will stay after the Sunday runs for coffee and drinks -- there's no better way to while away the afternoon!
